Data Perks App Reviews

They should change the name to AT&T Data Scams...

Another attempt to steal our money by this money hungry company, the offers are ridiculous with little reward, when they announced this app they said you could take surveys and get data rewards for them, ever since This app came out I havent seen a single survey. Like I said, a scam to make more money off customers.

Okay if it worked

Got instant data for watching videos and signing up-- cool. However, did not receive data promised after downloading apps, app shows that I did not complete-- but I did. Also, app crashes every time I try to make a purchase through the app. Can only upload 25MB of data per billing cycle. I intend to upload all that I have earned and delete the app. Lots of frustration for small reward.

Not worth time and effort

I have to sign up for products I will never use.

Nice!!

Surprising the amount they have... The time it took my grandmother to gather the same information, years, now only costs a few nights!

No issues

I have not had any issues like some of the other people writing reviews on here.

This app does not do what it says, the data never transfers.

Not worth the time

Pretty sure they made it intentionally horrible to use so no one would use it.

Not worth it!

Just for reference. There are 1024MB in one gigabyte. So most things they offer arent even worth it! For example if you spend $5 at Barnes & Noble you only get 10MB. Thats not worth your money AT ALL! This app tricks people into thinking they are getting a good deal because most people dont know the difference.

Lol

Sent here by app nana. Dunno how it is. Just going in signing in and get my nana and then leave.

Business Accounts!!!

I think its kind of unfair that yall are excluding business accounts from using this app & receiving data perks I mean seriously come on its so not right at all fix it so business account are eligible for the data perks please!!!

Not working!

Couldnt get it to verify.

Scam

On average 1 out of 5 apps you download will refund you the data. Some of the time nothing happens after downloading and using the app. The other thing that happens has to be a scam. After selecting the link to download the app, a dozen or so redirects occur and you end up on a sketchy website looking to take your money. How could this happen? All I know is that Im stay away.

Great perks!

Data perks has so many of the go to stores for when Im shopping online. Looks like Ill be earning data in no time!

Very Little Reward for Effort

My kids coin dozer game has the same business model too. Sign up for stuff you dont want for free coins (or in this case free data) and just cancel afterwards.

Too Much Effort

These offers might be more tempting if the data offered was more. Is a hundred MB for signing up for some recurring subscription worth the possibility that you could get billed $20-60 if you accidentally forget to cancel? There are offers for buying things from well-known vendors via their websites, but again, the MB per dollar (most average around 1MB per dollar spent) are so low that its not really worth the time or effort.

Not really helpful

While I applaud AT&T for their effort, what you have to do in order to earn the data is not worth it. One has to sign up for whatever service is in the list provided, and while a "free trial" is offered, it takes more time to remember to cancel all these services and go through the process of it. Completing a few surveys or checking in places could be another option but with these "free trial" programs as the only choice, this app will not be used. Another thing, what happens when someone uses all the free trials? That person is screwed for a while until new options are provided. Poor execution of a good idea.

Needs improvement

This is honestly a great idea, especially if you are nearing the end of your bill cycle, and are close to going over. The area of improvement needs to be the amount of data offered. If you are on a mobile share value plan, and you go over, you get 1 GB of data for $15. Some of these paid offers make you spend $10 or more just for 10-24 MBs of data. It doesnt make sense. In addition to this, the subscription offers can range between $9 or more, so for the amount of data being offered, it doesnt balance out well.

Good concept, poor execution

The first thing the description lists in the ways you can earn data is by taking "surveys". There are no surveys to take (at least that Ive seen). Everything is based on buying something or signing up for something - neither of which are worth the MB youll earn in return. The concept here is great, but this misses the mark on really bringing value or being worth your time.

Not really impressed.

Seen several adds about the free data earned by doing surveys, and watching adds. The only data that I got to add to my account worth anything was the initial sign up. 25mb which really doesnt go far. Upon looking at the rest of the high value data offers, it seems you have to sign up to different sites and then make purchases. Not worth it when I have to spend money in order to get a small amount of data back. Deleting this. As always, you see about something thats too good to be true, this is living proof.

Not worth it

Offers are not worth the amount of data you get. Although the it was a decent idea. They like someone else said, great concept, poor execution
